Dr Goh Lit Ching completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the prestigious University of London in the United Kingdom. After finishing her studies, she accumulated vast knowledge and experience in both medical and surgical fields. She is well versed and fluent in numerous languages and dialects including English, Mandarin, Malay, Hokkien and Cantonese, allowing her to efficiently communicate with various patients of different diverse cultures.
Her clinical interests include family medicine and preventative care. Dr Goh is a firm believer in primary prevention via health screening. Her keen interest in the wellbeing of her patients has been the main motivator for her having completed the Graduate Diploma Course in Family Medicine (GDFM) and the Graduate Diploma Course in Mental Health (GDMH) awarded by the National University of Singapore.
Having attended the Exercise is Medicine (EIMS) course, she supports prescribing physical activities as a means to combat chronic illnesses through prevention. She is also a certified Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) medical practitioner by Office of Public Guardian (OPG) and a Disability Assessment Practitioner appointed by the College of Family Physicians Singapore (CFPS).
Throughout nearly a decade of medical practice, she has received excellent feedback from both patients and her colleagues with her friendly bedside manner, strong sense of teamwork and her professional attitude towards people around her. She is an active person who loves spending time travelling and meeting new people. In free time, she loves painting, enjoys baking and keeping fit through regular exercise. Her easy going demeanor is cherished by many of her patients. With her knowledge and training, Dr Goh hopes to make a difference, impacting patients’ lives via early disease detection. By empowering her patients with health awareness, knowledge and understanding she believes her patients can achieve a well-balanced lifestyle that leads to less illnesses in their personal lives and the community as a whole.
